Even if you cannot change someone’s life, your good intentions and harmless actions are valuable contributions to building a better society. At the very least, you can do this. So, start with yourself.

Your Position May Be High, But Your Character Must Be Higher.

No matter how senior an officer you are, how powerful your position is, how famous you become, or how wealthy you are, none of these things gives you the right to insult another human being, hurt their self-respect, or humiliate them because they hold a lower position than you.

Every human being deserves dignity and respect. A person's worth should not be measured by their rank, wealth, power, or social status, but by their character, conduct, and humanity.

Neither religion, nor morality, nor the principles of humanity justify the humiliation or disrespect of another person. Treating junior employees and subordinates with kindness, compassion, fairness, and respect is a sign of good character and true leadership.

Always remember, your position gives you authority, but your character earns you respect. Using your power or higher status to demean someone who is less privileged is a violation of religious, moral, social, and human values.

True greatness does not lie in making others feel inferior. It lies in respecting others, especially those who have less power or status than you.

RESPECT, DIGNITY AND KINDNESS TOWARDS EMPLOYEES

According to the Holy Quran, Hadith, and the principles of the Indian Constitution, every employee deserves dignity, fairness, and respectful treatment.

The Holy Quran, Surah An-Nahl 16:90 “Indeed, Allah commands justice and good conduct.

Hadith, Sahih Muslim 2593 The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Allah loves kindness and rewards it in a way He does not reward harshness.

Article 14, Constitution of India Guarantees equality before the law and equal protection of the laws.

Senior officers should treat junior employees with respect, compassion, patience, and fairness. They should guide them with wisdom, listen to their genuine concerns, and never misuse their authority to humiliate or insult them.

A position of authority is a responsibility to uphold justice and dignity. True leadership is reflected in good character, humility, and respect for every individual.

Respect every employee. Practise justice. Lead with humanity.

Tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on His Birth Anniversary

On the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sahib, the Missile Man of India and the People's President, I pay my heartfelt tribute to a great visionary, scientist, teacher, and patriot whose life continues to inspire millions.

Dr. Kalam believed that dreams, education, hard work, and strong values can transform lives and build a better nation. His dedication to science, his love for students, his humility, and his commitment to India's progress will always remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.

His life teaches us that true greatness lies in knowledge, simplicity, honesty, and service to humanity. As a nation, we can honour his legacy by educating our children, empowering young minds, promoting peace, and working sincerely for the welfare of society.

At Be Kind, we believe that his vision of an educated, compassionate, and developed India can be strengthened when every individual contributes positively to society.
