@roguefortidv @IceAshera Berdly isn’t a good friend to Noelle in public because of his insecurities, being pushy and overbearing etc etc. In private he’s a whole different person to her. It’s not right and its not the best friendship they COULD have but they’re very close.

@Noodleboio2 Just because he's a side character doesn't mean he has to stand back and do very little. Side characters often accompany main characters, but just don't do as much. He doesn't have to be in every single scene surrounding the main characters, but can develop alongside them.

@lebonkulus People are so quick to say he's a side character as if that limits the amount of depth you can go into with his character, and what impact he can have on the story. Side characters most often ACCOMPANY main characters, but dont do as much.

Susie told him it was a dream -> she knows it's not and that he's actually much more chill, but then acts like she doesn't know he's putting up a mask again when irl. If she told him about dark worlds he'll snap right back to being friendly.

@Noodleboio2 @lebonkulus Him helping the fun gang could be part of his arc of opening up to people and seeing the impact he can make on their lives because of it, doesn't need to be any saving. He might know about the Church codes since he works there, and Susie said they need all the help they can get.

@ttrashcatt_ I mean, his arm is paralysed. It's definitely on Susie's conscience to fix that somehow. And Berdly is someone who understands risk, he's not going to jump into a fight with a burnt arm.
