Make coup happen, make una tag am “Igbo coup.” Then go ahead and murder over 3 million children without a national conversation about reparations and consequences for all those involved, sixty years down the line.

A Nigerian Earning ₦60 Thousand Now is Better Off Than a Nigerian Who Japa Five Years Ago — Presidential Aide, Daniel Bwala
Special adviser to the president on media and policy communications, Daniel Bwala has said that many Nigerians who moved abroad in search of greener pastures are facing harsh economic realities despite holding advanced degrees.
Speaking on The Morayo Show, Bwala said some Nigerians in the United Kingdom are working jobs that do not match their educational qualifications.
“Some of you in Nigeria who think you are suffering, you’re better off than your colleagues that japa five years ago,” Bwala said.
He described the situation as a form of modern-day exploitation, noting that many degree holders end up working in care homes and warehouses.
“As far as I am concerned, it is modern-day slavery,” he stated.
According to him, although workers may earn about £2,600 to £2,800 monthly, most of the income is spent on rent, utilities, internet, transportation, and feeding, leaving little savings.
“At the end of the day, what you are left with is not much. So you are forced to do two or three jobs,” he said.
Bwala argued that a Nigerian earning ₦60,000 locally could still benefit from family support and lower living costs compared to someone struggling abroad.
“That ₦60,000 earner can still get support from family and friends, while many abroad have nobody to fall back on,” he added.
He also defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s social intervention policies, citing the 50 percent subsidy on dialysis in federal hospitals and the provision of free cesarean sections in public health facilities.
“President Bola Tinubu introduced 50 percent subsidy on dialysis in federal hospitals, and cesarean section has been made free in public hospitals,” Bwala said.
He added that the administration hopes to expand healthcare support to more services and prescription drugs as government resources improve.
@NigeriaStories In July 29th of 2011 , report had it that the Sultan of Sokoto condemned the Crackdown of Boko-Haram members.
Why is same Sultan so concerned about insecurity now ? Something is fishy

"We Do Not Want Those Boys There Again" – Yoruba Leader Issues 7-Day Ultimatum to Hausa Settlers in Ojoo
The Yoruba community leader in Ojoo, Folagbade Azeez, has issued a stern 7-day ultimatum to Hausa settlers in the area, demanding they leave immediately.
"We do not want those boys there again. We do not feel safe as the place has become dangerous. They have been given 7 days to leave. We want peace not problems," Azeez declared.
Ojoo is trending because of a bloody clash between Hausa traders and Yorubas in Ojoo area of Ibadan, which left 3 dead, including a kid, and left many seriously injured with gun wounds. [Full]
It started yesterday night when a Yoruba Keke rider withdrew cash from an Hausa POS, but after collecting the money, the transaction failed.
Meanwhile, the Keke rider already gave the money to whom he wanted to settle.
But waited and offered to drop his phone an keke keys, to prove he’s not running away, so that they could hold on for network to rectify the problem.
— But it somehow allegedly fell on deaf ears and turned chaotic.
The POS operator raised alarm, accused the Keke rider, inciting an Hausa mob which sparked an altercation, and then led to multiple stabbing of the Keke rider to his death.
As he bled, they dumped his body at a street corner and continued with their day. Until Yoruba’s mobilized to rush him to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead enroute, due to the delay.
So, this morning, few Yoruba youths went there to demand answers and peaceful understanding. But instead, they were welcomed with brute violence and chased away.
As the Yorubas reinforced, an Hausa man identified as “General” came out with an Ak-47 machine gun, stood in the divide like he wanted to mediate peace, but instead, took an offensive position, and started shooting sporadically at the Yorubas, which allegedly strayed and hit a kid on errand to get Indomie.
And then General, commanded the Hausas to attack what’s left of the Yorubas. Who were then forced to fight or be killed.
Thus, turning into a primal war ground, which allegedly led to the even-out killing of one Hausa person; until authorities intervened.
Despite two police stations and a military base in proximity, the chaos expanded into a burning spree and destruction of businesses.
Upon arrival, the general was arrested by the army, but his weapon wasn’t seized. According to locals, he’s a police officer.
Now, Yorubas are saying, they are at risk of suffering a midnight reprisal attack as it frequently plays out in North Central, Kaduna, Plateau region.
Therefore, they want all the Hausas to leave that settlement today. — This is why the tension has sustained.
This story will be update for final confirmed figures on casualties and fatalities recorded.

Femi Falana stated that Ali Modu Sheriff, the former governor of Borno State, founded Boko Haram. He was arrested in Cameroon over his links to the group, but the Nigerian government stepped in and negotiated his release. Falana challenged Sheriff to sue him if the claims are untrue.
The APC really hate the fact that Nigerians are discussing education & the STEM Olympiad in Rome. Those witches & wizards are bitter leaves. The Children of Hate went as far as opening Twitter Spaces to discuss Alex Onyia. Tribalism must die before Nigeria can rise.
