🚨 | Ferrari’s 2026 Power Unit: High-risk, high-reward

While Mercedes is rumored to have the strongest project, Ferrari is pushing the limits of its V6 with new sustainable fuels and advanced additive manufacturing.

The strategy mirrors 2022: prioritize performance even at the risk of reliability issues, which FIA rules may later allow to be corrected. Thanks to Additional Development Opportunities (ADO), if Ferrari’s ICE output falls behind rivals, it will gain extra testing and upgrade allowances.

Led by Enrico Gualtieri, the goal is clear: a high-risk, high-reward engine that enables slimmer radiators, better aerodynamics, and a chance to surprise rivals in 2026.
