//Corvettes, etc. have longer range than TBs, just like armoured units. TBs can have tenders or FTL carries to increase their range, just like mechanised infantry. And tenders and TBs could be designed to dock and give the crews space to move around, just like setting up camp!

I love the idea of individual tanks having their own names given to them be their crews, but don't have tanks in space, obviously.
