There's currently big drama unfolding in the Ukrainian media sphere (though they're good at keeping this sort of thing out of Western media). It became public knowledge that soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment killed a bunch of their comrades-in-arms after the fall of Gulyaipole.

Many of the freshly conscripted soldiers started fleeing, abandoning positions etc. and the commander of the unit gave explicit orders to shell their escape routes, shoot deserters, drone strike retreating units, and so on.

One of those things they've been doing regularly since the beginning of the war. But now someone has broken the social contract and talked about it publicly
