We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Eva Lang last week at 93 years old. Born in Belgium, Eva Lang survived the Holocaust in children’s homes throughout France. She immigrated to Canada in 1974 and later moved to Israel.
Eva’s is a story of hope — for years after the war, she stayed in touch with the people who hid her and other Jewish children from the authorities and made sure they were designated Righteous Among the Nations for the lives they saved.
May her memory be a blessing.
