Drilling at Tombstone has commenced!
In 2024, we discovered additional bonanza grade #silver and #gold in TR24-16.
2025 looks to build on that exploration success and test our CRD sulfide targets for the first time.
Please follow along for updates as the program progresses.

Atrium has initiated coverage on @AztecMinerals with a Buy and a C$0.45 target. With maiden MREs expected for both Tombstone and Cervantes in Q3, a 22,000m drill program underway, and strong strategic backing, Aztec is entering a key catalyst window ⏩ https://t.co/oFi6BZjyBP
Our team has published an initiation report on @AztecMinerals. Aztec is an exploration Company with two gold-silver assets, the Tombstone Project in Arizona and the Cervantes Project in Mexico. The flagship Tombstone Project (85%-owned) is a brownfield past-producing oxide gold-silver open pit in Arizona on private land. $AZT.V

📍 The Tombstone drill program continues to grow, with Aztec adding an additional 3,500m of RC drilling focused on the North Contention Area.
The expanded program now totals approximately 22,200m of combined RC and core drilling as the company continues testing extensions of oxide gold-silver mineralization beyond the current footprint.
To date, more than 14,000m of RC drilling and 3,300m of core drilling have been completed, with multiple holes still pending results as drilling continues through August 2026.

📍 TR26-30 (105/-70) now underway at Tombstone!
Drilling kicked off at 2:00 PM on May 16, 2026, with this hole stepping out on the growing Contention system as part of the 2025–2026 program.
With each new hole, the team continues to test extensions beyond the historic pit and build on the expanding footprint of oxide gold-silver mineralization.

📸 From the archives: Aerial views of the historic Contention open pit at the Tombstone Project during mining operations in 1984.
The Tombstone district has a long mining history dating back to the late 1800s, with historic production of high-grade silver and gold from oxidized vein and CRD-style mineralization. Today, Aztec Minerals is continuing exploration around and beneath the historic Contention pit, targeting broader gold-silver potential across the district.
These photos offer a rare look at the scale of operations in the 1980s, and highlight the continued exploration potential across the Tombstone district.

🌄 Press Release: Aztec Minerals continues to expand oxide gold-silver mineralization at the Tombstone Project, with step-out drilling extending the northern Contention Zone to the west and at depth.
Strong widths and grades continue, with multiple holes ending in mineralization, highlighting expansion potential.
🔸 66.9m @ 1.47 gpt AuEq (incl. 27.4m @ 3.10) — open
🔸 53.2m @ 1.36 gpt AuEq from surface
🔸 121.9m @ 0.50 gpt AuEq — open
🔸 Step-outs continue linking toward Westside
Drilling now totals 70 RC and 8 core holes, with 9 pending results.

Tombstone’s exploration model includes both near-surface oxide mineralization and deeper sulfide polymetallic potential.
Historic drilling, geophysics, and regional analogs suggest the presence of deeper sulfide mineralization beneath the oxide zone, similar in style to major discoveries elsewhere in southern Arizona.
Initial drilling is now beginning to test this deeper target horizon. Follow along for updates: https://t.co/r1YmnpfTAT

🗺️ At Cervantes, drilling demonstrates strong continuity at the California Zone:
- 137m @ 1.49 g/t gold
- 165m @ 1.00 g/t gold
- Mineralization open in all directions
The system now spans a large footprint with potential for further expansion.
