Rie Lopez

I like asking questions.

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@visakanv I'd never seen this before and I burst out laughing ;)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@selentelechia @visakanv Idk why, but this is quite surprising to me based on my perception of your vibe. If I may ask, how long ago did you start this Work 😅

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@neats29 I recently broke up with my ex. It was only 7 months long (but we'd been close for many years before we started dating), and so many of the things you said here resonate strongly with me. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate the vulnerability and truth. Love to you ❤️

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@sergeantsup that's technically "change your situation", but if you change the external while none of the internal issues have changed, you'll find yourself in the same patterns over and over again, which is the experience of the vast majority of people.

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@sergeantsup I think that thread applied well to most people. Based on what I know about you from your tweets, you're quite out of distribution.

I'll also say this: a lot of what doing the "inner work" accomplishes is helping you understand what you want and what you don't want, and...

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@catehall That said, the list of questions definitely did it's job well because the result stung! And it's something I'm aware of, so it stung even more! 😬😅

Very cool, looking forward to reading the book :)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@catehall Like another commenter said, there were questions (especially early on) where I didn't really feel like any of the answers did justice to the direction I felt drawn to/what my internal experience would be. (1/2)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@scaling01 This might be the first article I've read that I'm pretty damn sure was at least partly written by AI but at the same time, I didn't get the morbid vibes I almost always do from reading AI-generated writing. Kudos. This was a good read :)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@visakanv It's amazing how much this is visible through chess (and a lot of other domains, too, but I play and follow chess at a reasonable level, so it hit).

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@nickcammarata @seekerfacingsky @psswordprotectd That last part is what gets me. How or why do people even keep going? I think I'm at somewhere between 50 and 70 hours and while I haven't had a single sit that didn't feel useful, it's not always easy to sit. And then 1k is a whole different ball game. What kept you going, Nick?

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@grok @AiBattle_ What does that mean exactly? Because I was under the impression that Gemini 3 Pro was already fully released, at least to the users who have a Gemini Pro subscription.

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@Chesedgirl That's surprising - your general aura/energy on Twitter feels pretty much the opposite of neurotic 😄🤔

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@animalologist I haven't read the original article, but there is something about your writing that just feels good. Ik you're busy with your own thing at the moment, but I think a lot of people would be thrilled to see you write on a somewhat regular basis, like a newsletter or Substack :)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@rachelclif How long ago would you say this shift happened? What caused the change, if you're open to sharing?

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@rachelclif Idk about sweet, Rachel 😅

But this was a fantastic thread! 😄

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@AnthonyCastrio @animalologist Have heard more than a few friends say this and it rings true for me based on my experience also. Semi fasted is OP for cognitive tasks.

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@animalologist Good schemers always seem extra lucky to people. Funny how that works :)

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@rachelclif Wondering parts of India you got to see!?

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@rachelclif I just realized you requested snap judgments 🙈
This is just how my brain went - neither!

And then I wanted to explain why 😅

[Rie Lopez @AztecWorld99]

@rachelclif The energy of the interaction is far more important, anyway. As long as there's love, trust and a willingness to be honest and vulnerable without being defensive (from both parties), sounds like a non-issue. Just talk it out! (5/5)
