Quran 3:55 says the followers of Jesus would be placed above others until the Day of Judgment.

Yet when this verse is mentioned, many Muslims suddenly claim they are the true followers of Jesus.

How exactly?

Jesus taught His crucifixion. Islam denies it.
Jesus called God His Father. Islam rejects it.
Jesus established a New Covenant. Islam rejects it.
Jesus commanded His disciples to spread His message. Islam calls their message corrupted.

You cannot spend centuries contradicting Jesus and then claim to be His followers when a Quran verse becomes inconvenient.

The constant twisting of words and history to force Islam into places it does not fit is becoming impossible to ignore.

Sometimes I wonder whether the being that appeared to Muhammad was truly an angel, because deception seems to follow the religion at every turn.
