(thread) What I'm watching today, based on conversations this morning with several sources close to Trump and his legal team... 1) will the magistrate judge set a date for the next appearance/ "status conference" today? That will be clue about how fast this is going to move...
Word is that there will be many MAGA protesters, some admittedly armed, in Miami for the #TrumpArraignment.
Stay clear of the area. Don’t engage.
The rule of law is a basic principle – EVERYONE must abide by our nation’s laws.

Medgar Evers dedicated his life to pursuing civil rights and equality for all Americans. With steadfast determination, he worked tirelessly to end segregation, eliminate Jim Crow laws and ensure equal access to voting rights.
7 years later and I can still hear your laughs.
7 years later and I can still feel the weight of your arms around my shoulder.
7 years later and a million missed chances to say “I love you.”
7 years since you were stolen at Pulse and goodbye isn’t any easier.
Seven years ago, we went to Pulse Nightclub — our refuge. The place we danced with abandon. Sang til we lost our voices. Lived without hesitation.
Then, with over 110 rounds from an assault rifle, a man filled with hate tore it apart.
Drew and Juan never made it home.
Daily reminder that is was a Grand Jury of everyday Americans that indicted Donald Trump.
The criminal process MUST be allowed to play out.
The GOP must decide: do they stand with the rule of law or Trump?

The Dept. of Education has taken an important step in protecting students’ civil rights by appointing a coordinator to address the alarming rise of book bans.
We must ensure that extremists don’t take away our students’ access to an inclusive education.
I will continue to fight against these discriminatory policies.
As gun violence remains a national crisis, our thoughts are with families who have lost loved ones & our prayers are that the US Congress will listen to the people’s cries for common sense solutions to #EndGunViolence. #HonorThemWithAction

Fox News loves to say that CA is doomed.
The truth is -- CA's economy has continued to outperform the nation.
Our state is #1 in the nation for new business starts.
#1 for access to venture capital funding.
And #1 for tourism spending.
Rogelio harvests strawberries piece rate in Salinas CA. "It's a tiring job. I rush to harvest as many boxes as possible. My day is bending over & running to get the box to the row's end so they can count it. My body's tired, but this is how I provide for my family." #WeFeedYou
For those arguing the documents are 'his' presidential records:
According to the Presidential Records Act: "The United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records."
Each count of willful retention of records carries a maximum 10-year sentence. Obstruction charges each carry a 20-year max. False-statements charges carry a 5-year max.
If convicted, Trump would not face those maximums, but he would certainly be facing significant jail time.

Happy birthday to this account. A year ago, I created it because there were no accounts about 🇺🇦art at all. I didn't expect there would be more than 24 thousand of you! Ukrainian art worth to be knowing. Thank you.
