Great talk by @keilonimitchell at #MSIgnite about how improving access to technology drives social capital and improves the bottom line — such an important topic for us to understand and consider in our everyday actions! (Also note the #AzureFrontDoor T-shirt 🙌🏻)
Can't believe it's almost been a month since Build now. One new @Azure service I learned about was the @AzureFrontdoor! I got to spend some time with @sharad_chai on @AzurePodcast on the latest episode https://t.co/Jm3pUKMgqq

A pure play in performance and awesome launch of new service that existed in beta. Surely looking forward to use this one. Awesome #1Integration of #waf and #ssloffloading - much sought features. https://t.co/5gTGXGkfo7
12 years ago I wrote the first spec for the “Live Search FrontDoor” service. We used it to launch Bing. I haven’t worked on it for about 10 years, but turning it into a product was always the dream. So happy to see this! https://t.co/LIRDxGWqoV
Today at #NABShow, we're happy to announce the general availability of Azure Front Door, ExpressRoute Direct and Global Reach. Discover your delivery solution today: https://t.co/fLSZSa75ud
@CabezaDelZorro So, each of our POPs globally send a health probe to each of your backends to maintain a map of availability and latency fro. Each of the POPs. Let's say we have 70 POPs and each firing a probe every 30 seconds so it adds up to ~8k/hour.
@tim_abell Any changes you make to your front door need to be applied to all the POPS globally. We believe we are quite competitive and take about 3 mins for the global rollout. Definitely scope for improvement here.
