حين تُشدّ الأنظار كلها إلى النتيجة، ويُستنزف الوجدان فيها؛ فهذه بحد ذاتها ملهاة ينبغي أن نراجع حجمها في حياتنا.
ستنتهي المباريات.
وستفرغ المدرجات..
وستنصرف الشاشات إلى حدثٍ آخر..
لكن واقع الأمة سيبقى حيث هو، بتفاصيله الثقيلة وآلامه المتراكمة، ينتظر وعيًا لا تشجيعاً، وعملًا لا هتافاً، وبطولاتٍ حقيقية في ميادين لا تُحسم نتيجتها في تسعين دقيقة.

نسأل الله أن يأتي يوم تظهر فيه بطولات المصريين، وبطولات سائر شعوب أمتنا، بأسمائها الحقيقية وهويتها العزيزة؛ لا تحت مسمى «الفراعنة»، ولا ما يشبهه من مسميات تُنسب بها شعوب المسلمين إلى هويات غير هويتها الإسلامية..
