@blkxone@arrancarsaga Well they were essentially tricked. Mest had covered the whole thing to maintain stability. Even wiped his friend Lahar’s memories, believing he has a bright future in the council
Sad part is Lahar dies not long after in front of him. Don’t think he’s gotten closure from it yet
@RaxRazing Didn’t Hiruzen pay for everything Naruto needed? Someone had to have given him clothes, how to read & right, applied for him to attend school when everyone was against. He wasn’t around much but neither for his own family. Naruto even struggles to be with his own family
@TerrenceOlson2@arrancarsaga So because Erza imagined something about a guy she hasn’t met yet, that warrants this kind of reaction? How would she know this is accurate? Did she hear baseless rumors? She doesn’t even warn him to stay away from Wendy they officially meet
Make it make sense, please.
@arrancarsaga Worth adding that he had an unconscious Wendy in his care for hours & he did nothing besides set her down & keep his distance
After the Makarov rescue mission, Mest basically ignores Wendy for the rest of the series. Like he forgot she exists.
@arrancarsaga That’s not the real Mest. He wasn’t even there. It’s all in Erza’s head. She hasn’t even properly met him at that point so it’s not even an accurate take
@blkxone@arrancarsaga When Mest saved Wendy from a Face bomb, she was unconscious in his care for hours & all he did was set her down & keep his distance
After saving Makarov from Zeref, Mest basically ignores Wendy for the rest of the series, over a year in canon. Seems inconsistent for pedo
@blkxone@arrancarsaga It’s canon that he is 1 outside of just gags. This part is all in Erza’s head, she hasn’t even properly met him at this point so it’s not an accurate take. She doesn’t even tell him to stay away from Wendy when they do meet so even Erza doesn’t believe it.
@smeraldo2210@arrancarsaga This all in Erza’s head, she hasn’t even properly met him at that point so it can’t be taken as fact outside of just a gag
Odds r she heard baseless rumors from the guild, same people who thought Natsu had a girlfriend & that Gray had a kid with Juvia
@areuloading@DXGrayxon@layovermoods@lisaspickle The target audience is for teen boys, Shounen means young male demographic. As they age so does Lucy. So most fans who grew up watching anime see Lucy & other characters of other series as the adults they now currently are
@areuloading@DXGrayxon@layovermoods@lisaspickle Again it’s fiction, he could’ve said her age was 25 & it wouldn’t make a difference to the story or later retcon & say she was actually older
@IRBaboon18@Alby_The_Otaku Interesting idea just bad execution. Mainly Gray’s double agent plot, he even admits he messed up so it was pointless. The idea is reused as a side mission in the 2020 game where Natsu Sting & Rogue find a dark mage also making artificial dragons
@ChiseiScarlet@SlickGang4 It kind of sucks that some criticise FT when other anime still get away with the same issues. Yes, not fond of the fanservice but same can said for One Piece, which also has more plot armor & fake out deaths than they claim FT has. And it can still be enjoyed regardless
@ChiseiScarlet@SlickGang4 Thing is “power of friendship” is an exaggeration. Its power system runs on emotions similar to Hulk, Green Lantern & Chaos Emeralds from Sonic games. While they make friendship speeches, it’s not the core reason they win, there are other consistent factors.
