You have to understand that Morrowind is a game that actually requires the player to actually use any part of their brain for any amount of time instead of playing on autopilot which is completely antithetical to Bethesda’s game philosophy for the last 25 years
@SaltyEgg0 One could contribute those choices in writing in the 90s to be just of the time (protagonist being the player, and games usually having simple stories, yet we have games like Final Fantasy VI that say otherwise). If course that excuse kind went out the window in X4.
@SaltyEgg0 Yeah the maverick virus being the cause of Reploids turning hostile towards humans, and X's lack of character growth until X6 have bothered me for years. It also makes Maverick Hunter X's failure more frustrating because it seems it was aiming to fix those issues in the story.
@LordKnightBB Like the others have said, classic Mega Man has plenty of wiggle room to work with, it's pretty much the episodic Saturday morning cartoon of the series that will never have a definitive ending. However we know it does lore wise.
@OnlyWaifu Since then he has been fighting either evil corporations, or bio terrorists which usually involve the undead, and other horrors. Around between RE6-Vendetta it began to start taking a toll on him mentally, but Chris, and Rebecca convinced him hang in there.
@UESP_net Morrowind: Dunmer "Custom Battle Mage"
Oblivion: Nord, or Dunmer "Custom Spell Sword, or Battle Mage"
Skyrim: Dunmer "Spell Sword Build"
It's obvious I'm a Morrowind baby lol, and I always like being able to mix melee combat with magic for enchancing my attack, or defenses.
Mega Man WAS one of Capcom's core IPs, but then they tossed it aside after Inafune left (despite his faults he kept the series going), and of course there was the Mega Man exhaustion.
Cool... now the question is... Which Mega Man? Likely Classic, or X, but Legends 3 might finally happen (people been screaming to the heavens for it for a long time), or Capcom might get a wild hair, and continue Battle Network, or ZX.
@GamewithDave Final Fantasy XII I gave it a fair shot, but after the first several hours it lost me. I liked some of the characters, but the plot wasn't grabbing me, and I didn't care for the game play.
Now I'm just imagining a timeline in the Ringu universe where Sadako doesn't die after a Carrie kill spree, but in some other tragic manner. But is so determined to fulfill her dream to become a actress she returns from death, and becomes one of Japan's most popular celebrities.
@BasedLEDA Lol, no she put her through a world of pain.
Also this scene instantly jumped into my top 5 favorite "Most satisfying moments in anime" when I first saw this.
Seeing Quattro's constant smugness melt away into horror when she realized how screwed she is was glorious.
At least how AFO achieved his goal actually makes sense (even though some parts were a bit of a stretch). Aizen needed his illusions, and the story bending over backwards for him to make him look like a master manipulator.
