A small tribute to one of my favorite anime ever. Was most definitely inspired by recent hololive activities, which reminded me of this anime all over again.

And while we're at it,another circus trick - Since this is quite similar to the previous post,I'm drawing it in a cartoony manga style (A chibi's arms would be too short for that gesture)

I hope the wool yarn balls make up for the lack of feline visual cues (cat ears covered etc)

The French name for the Magician card in the Marseilles Tarot deck is Le Bateleur, The Juggler

I love books, and in this day and age about the only thing that seems to make them cool is the concept/visuals of traditional spellbooks

(I toyed with showing the shadow of an approaching monster, but I decided against it)

There hasn't been all that much progress, but since I hadn't posted the whole image yet I hope it feels like it (Hands are often time-consuming)
I may try to add the shadow of a monster
