Lost in Cult is a phenomenal physical publisher, and it’s great they’re giving us Xbox physical fans a treat with this upcoming game.

As always, it’s up to us to show up and demonstrate there indeed is still interest for physical games on the team green side.

This is our first Xbox physical - really proud to be supporting the platform and community with a proper on-disc physical. I know y'all get skipped over a lot.

Ensuring the physical edition of a game can release as complete as possible is the best way to do it. Huge props to Yacht Club for the transparency and for caring about quality physicals.
And as always, I eagerly await a physical @XBOX edition! Looking forward to playing Mina.

@MetroidFREAK21 Physical editions are planned! We’re waiting until the main patches/updates are finished before moving forward, so the physical version can be as complete as possible. Even after that, manufacturing can take another 6+ months, so it’ll be a while.

@madcap412 Apparently the reasoning is that Halo Campaign was already previously announced for PS5 so undoing that would’ve been a bigger hassle and PR nightmare. Meanwhile, Gears was never officially confirmed so they could make it exclusive last minute before the announcement.

@DanVMaul @klobrille Spyro is made by Toys for Bob, which isn’t a first party studio anymore. They probably have to honor previous agreements that include a multiplat release

While the @XBOX showcase was indeed spectacular, there is one sour note: the incomplete physical releases for their first party games.
The current leadership @asha_shar has done an excellent job course-correcting the brand; I hope they can similarly take physical games seriously.

This is the first time in nearly a decade that XBOX has made a decision that incentivizes people to buy their console and incorporate themselves into the install base. I applaud them. Hopefully it contributes to more consoles sales internationally — competition is good for gamers

@gothicthegame @DoesItPlay1 I see the upcoming Gothic 2 Classic and Gothic 3 Classic physicals on @XBOX have the download requirement banner. Please fix those physicals before release.
Hopefully you learned from these Remake shenanigans that some of us only care for games that aren’t reliant on the internet

@genDESIGN_Inc Everyone should play Shadow of the Colossus. It is a masterpiece — my favorite game.
Is there a chance to see it on other platforms besides PlayStation? It would be great to see it release on Switch 2 and Xbox.
