Azzy runs a small design shop in Pennsylvania, loves jeeps, fast cars and personal liberty. All taxes suck.
Follows =/= endorsements. DMs open to real humans.
Old Saturn, before GM just badge engineered it to the scrap heap.
Affordable, and the design choices were made for serviceability (to reduce repair costs, and keep the time spent in the dealership to a minimum).
And made here in the USA.
Wouldn't mind to see what AMC would come up with these days either.
Guy clicks on my ad and then starts tossing (silly) legal threats.
I never asked Meta to send people straight to my inbox and auto-reply, just wanted them on my website contact page.
Just trying to score some much needed manufacturing biz. Apparently I paid $6.35 for this crap.
@warrioraspie I was just on the cusp, then they changed the rules.
Might be easier to hire a SE Asian account manager, they all seem to get monetization easily. On that note, consider a hot blonde girl as your avatar.
@kaiju_ind One of the small dealers I work with was shocked to hear that the JL stuff we do carry (Key chains, data plates) sells about as good as the Renegade stuff we offered.
Now if I wanted to, the gauge faces are the same as the Charger, and I know there is a market there.
People ask why I never did JL or Gladiator gauges. Probably because it takes 1.5 hours to get in there.
In a JK, you can swap the gauges in 20 minutes.
I worked on the first JLU-R on the east coast, or so we were told by the dealer, and it was a nightmare to get into the dash.
I do have a spare cluster, which was grabbed from a reject bin by a customer of mine that worked at the plant, so technically I could do gauges... but I don't want that responsibility. Replacing them when they came out in 2018 was ~2K for the full featured unit.
@JoshMurrah@xToolOfficial Is that enough CO2 to fill the unit while the fan is on? Seems neat, but a bit small.
I say this after having to use my 5lb unit last night.
@SCH_Clay@JoshMurrah@xToolOfficial Problem with those and ABC extinguishers is they put out the fire, and usually destroy the machine in the process.
I keep a 5lb CO2 unit on the wall here and 2 25lb units by my other equipment, as well as other options depending on the fire source.
Fun interaction this week. My mailman sent his brother and wife down to my shop because they just bought a 3d printer (A1) and heard I did a lot. Showed them around the shop, showed off my print space, and the couple jobs that were running. Gave them a few tips for things they were working with, and encouraged them to try materials outside of the Bambu ecosystem.
They asked if I ran a 3D printing class. Which is something I never thought about. Ive got the space... what would you expect from a beginner 3d printing class / workshop?
That's some clean looking @3dxtech CarbonX Nylon. Printer's been running full tilt since the rebuild, but I need to get that chamber heater mod finished.
I made these a while back, and just got a message from someone who received one in Germany. Pretty dang cool.
We also did some for the Tail of The Dragon (official ones at that!) but Ive yet to see any pictures of them from customers.
