Lucas Vázquez: "Yes, Dani [Carvajal] was here 12, I think 12 or 13 years ago, and he recommended it to me because he had been very happy here, both on a sporting and personal level, and said that if I could choose this option, I shouldn't let it slip away."
Bayer Leverkusen's first written offer for Jonathan Clauss was €4m, the second €6.25m, but they were insufficient. A third and final verbal €7.5m offer was made to OGC Nice, but negotiations ended there - B04 spent a month trying to convince them.

BREAKING: Bayer Leverkusen have submitted a new €25m plus add-ons offer for Equi Fernández in the last hours - the total amount is just under €30m.
Al Qadsiah and B04 are now negotiating details. Agreement with the player is in place on a long term contract.
[@berger_pj]
Arsenal are currently the most concrete option for Piero Hincapié. At this late stage in the window, his release clause is €65m.
Arsenal must pay the contractually agreed fee for the deal to go ahead - a scenario in which they push down the fee must be ruled out from B04's point of view as it would be extremely risky from a sporting perspective to make the upheaval even bigger.
