@SamuelTrautman_@B1GDuckEnergyy Since you love rankings so much: Bama is #7 and Oregon is #15. Now tell us how many weeks until he’s attached to USC cause he can’t get Alabama very far
@theGoldHelmets@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive Nobody said beating unranked Big Ten teams is a flex for Oregon. The difference is Oregon's schedule actually includes games against top ranked Big Ten teams, while you're out here bragging about ND beating unranked Purdue and Wisconsin. Keep arguing with your own imagination.
@SamuelTrautman_@B1GDuckEnergyy Current rankings in October mean nothing if DeBoer is already on the hot seat at Bama and linked to USC rumors. Oregon has program stability that USC is desperately trying to copy.
@theGoldHelmets@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive I literally never said that either. You're arguing with your own emotions at this point. Beating Purdue, Wisconsin, and Michigan State isn't the flex you think it is man. None of those teams are ranked which literally proves the whole point of this thread.
@BallJuggler@Kbez23 Lincoln Riley might get fired with a $70M buyout. USC has a delusional fanbase that still thinks it’s 2005. The B1G is just as tough or tougher of a conference as the SEC. There would be a lot of pressure at USC.
@LASPORTSFANATIC Maybe Oregon should claim the 2024 national title since several computers said we finished the year (even after the playoff) ranked number one. That’s how this works, right?
@theGoldHelmets@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive The Big Ten has won 3 straight National Championships and sent Washington to the title game in 2023. On top of that Oregon has literally played 3 ranked teams in 4 weeks this season with another one coming up next.
NEW: USC head coach Lincoln Riley on the Trojans' loss to Oregon:
"We didn't get run out of the stadium. There's a lot of good things on that tape. You don't have a chance to win a game like that if you don't do some things pretty well."

@theGoldHelmets@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive Nobody said Oregon’s entire schedule was Top 5 teams. But since you brought it up: Oregon has as many Top 5 wins as ND in that span (2), while actually playing a tough conference schedule every year.
@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive 2 wins in 5 years isn't a bunch. Notice how those top 5 wins came in January playoff neutral site games against SEC/Big Ten teams….which actually proves my point. It's the soft regular season type games with #22 ACC teams that inflates the win total…
@TheValeMark@EviljudoWayne@NextRoundLive Again, never said they didn’t count. My point is that If you think a win against #24 Duke carries the same weight as beating a top 5 conference opponent, then we’re just watching two completely different sports.
@JackJohnSavage I think he meant just like Cignetti with Indiana that Chesney brought the James Madison staff and a bunch transfers to UCLA. They’re also averaging 45 PPG and 7.4 yards per play, the run game is very efficient, and the defense has 13 forced turnovers in 4 games. They are good
