#OUB329 Wk11 taught me about Coping with conflict and change. One are which interested me most was Constructive dissent. Often we think of dessent as destructive or negative, where it needs not be. I will look to utilise my new knowledge on this on upcoming relevant debates!
#OUB329 Wk10 PT2 - This weeks learning allowed me to understand the influence more, and also to how to be mindful of what could happen, such as nepotism. Also, to be mindful of followers, and the impact that they have surrounding poor or toxic leadership
#OUB329 Wk10 PT1 - Mobilising Followers. This explored networks, leadership and influence. This week showed me how leadership can happen through influence and networks of working rather than through hierarchy, and the importance of relations to make leadership happen.
#OUB329 Wk9 - Developing positive relationships and collaborations. The reading explained why collaboration is important, and what can leadership activities can support collaboration. Another reflection activity this week, i'm a doubter! more room to improve again for me
#OUB329 Wk8 included inclusiveness & diversity in relation to leadership, and boundaryless leadership. Delving into the situational leadership model, an activity allowed me to check my own style. This was a shock, but gave me direction to where i need to change. Challenge!
#OUB329 Wk7 - Looking at the differences between an administrator, a manager and a leader; and also how can you become an inspiring leader? An insightful week including a speech from Karen Kane, which i intend on using when looking at dealing with difficult employees at work!

#OUB329wk5 Blog learning week. Not for me! I have never written nor i don't think read one up until this week. However a tutorial or 2 later, i am as ready as I'm going to be. Hopefully i can master blog writing and interviewing, and add it to the skillset!
#OUB329wk4 A few buzz words from week 4 - GLOBE (Dimensions & Clusters), Orientation, Knowledge, Behaviour. Schein & Schein's lilypond metaphor really helped me understand culture!
#OUB329Wk3 explored populism. It's a subject which i didn't know much about prior to this, however it shows how influential charismatic leaders are, regardless of the potentially negative policies which they set to enforce. A true eye opener!
#OUB329Wk2 Studies this week have made me realise and understand the pressures which are becoming more present. I realise that i am grateful for my secure job with little precarity. This needs to be spoken about more than what it currently is!
