How I'm able to deliver high end innovative ideas? I Trained it with sweat and blood, because I'm not just any creative, I'm a Miami Ad Schooler. We learn to think years ahead of our time. We think big.
Why being a trendsetting creative is a problem in agency structures: If the CCO doesn't recognize the innovative idea, the creative loses. This happened to me dozens of times. Mostly later on the idea was produced by someone else, winning awards and fame. E.g.: BMW. A thread. 🧵
5) 6 years later, 2019, as I found out today in 2025: My idea got produced and lasts to this day.
The BMW Excellence Club for the high class models of BMW like X6 and X7. With Access to exclusive content online. Exactly my idea in 2013. Frustrating. But this kept going in a row.
4) My Idea in 2013 for X6, oriented at the actual briefing: Lets make a launch campaign that lasts forever: An exklusive online Plattform for X6 Drivers with exklusive content like exklusive Interviews and exklusive Access to high class Websites. Something not everyone gets.
3) But the CCO wanted Viral Old school Videos to show to BMW. So I delivered more of those Kind, even though I wanted more Service oriented, long lasting, target group relevance instead of funny internet one hitters. Ideas for the high class audience. He failed. BMW hated it.
2) Oh, once again. My idea got produced years later. I just found out, when doing research at https://t.co/dEHRRjIwm6. Back in 2013 I was part of the top creative Team of the Digital Agency of BMW. I worked day and night to deliver all possibilities of ideas to the CCO.
