A priest in full cassock tackled a car thief.
Rev. Jean-Baptiste Commins was in the parking lot of St. Joseph Shrine in Detroit when he heard screeching tires and a loud crash.
A man had crashed a stolen vehicle outside the church and tried to run.
Fr. Commins chased him down, tackled him, and held him until police arrived.
Legendary 👏
Sam Brownback, the former U.S. senator and governor of Kansas, is a convert to Catholicism. "Joining the Catholic Church was joining the early church. This is the mother church. This is the church out of which orthodoxy and Protestantism came,” he says about his conversion
🚨 Senator Moody just TORCHED Dr. Fauci and dropped the truth about COVID that got people banned on social media
• Masks were BS
• 6 feet was BS
• Shutting businesses was BS
• Closing churches was BS
• Locking down schools was BS
This was a crime against humanity.
I've said it from the beginning: lying to Congress is a felony. Destroying federal records is a felony. Advising others to destroy federal records is a felony. Fauci did all three. His adviser was just indicted. Fauci is next. The deadline to prosecute Fauci is May 11. The DOJ must act now.

If we’re going to introduce anecdotes as evidence, my own experience is that rate of protestants trolling/slop-posting Catholics vs. the opposite is around 100x/1,000x to 1x hereon.
And while we love individual protestants, protestantism itself is a heresy and liberty of perdition and has no more “right” to exist than Nestorianism or Gnosticism.

“I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive….
that men may see and know, may consider and understand together,
that the hand of the Lord has done this.”
Isaiah 41:19-20
The Reformers didn't just tolerate Catholic positions. They actively defended them. Then their own followers quietly dropped them.
Here are five examples with their own words.
1. Luther on the Perpetual Virginity of Mary (1544):
"Christ was the only Son of Mary, and the Virgin Mary bore no children besides Him." He called anyone who denied this "detestable."
2. Calvin on the necessity of visible Church unity (Institutes 4.1.4):
"Away from her bosom one cannot hope for any forgiveness of sins or any salvation." He meant an institutional, visible Church. Not an invisible collection of believers.
3. Zwingli on praying the Hail Mary (1522):
"The more the honor and love of Christ increases among men, so much the more also should the esteem and honor of Mary increase." He defended Marian devotion at the very moment he was beginning his break with Rome.
4. Luther on Baptismal Regeneration (Large Catechism, 1529):
"Through the Word, Baptism receives the power to become the washing of regeneration." Not a symbol. Not an ordinance. Regeneration.
5. Calvin on the Real Presence in the Eucharist (Institutes 4.17.10):
"The flesh of Christ is like a rich and inexhaustible fountain" that "truly pours into us the life springing forth from the flesh of Christ." Not bare bread. Not mere memorial.
Every single one of these positions is rejected by most Baptists, nondenominational churches, and evangelicals today.
So the honest question becomes: if you reject what Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli explicitly taught on Mary, Baptism, the Eucharist, and the visible Church, whose reformation are you actually following?
Because it is not theirs.
Which of these five surprises you most?
Happy Feast of the Annunciation!
How fitting that the Vatican announced the beatification date of Ven. Fulton Sheen—whose Marian devotion was central to his life as a priest and bishop—on this feast day.
He will be beatified on Sept 24 in St. Louis.
Catholics,
Father Chad Ripperger’s warning to Catholics has never been more important than now!
Know your faith & stand on that lest you lack spiritual/moral discernment. 🕊️
“If you do not do serious, hard study, you will end up a heretic.”
I don’t care who it is that claims to be Catholic:
Do not allow yourself to be misguided by anyone.
On this St. Patrick’s Day, a reminder: St. Patrick was a CATHOLIC.
He:
• went to Rome in 441 to seek approval from the POPE for his ministry in Ireland. While there, POPE Leo the Great confirmed Patrick’s full adherence to the Catholic faith
• spent 2 decades as a Catholic MONK
• was ordained a Catholic PRIEST
• was consecrated a Catholic BISHOP by a papal representative
• described himself as a Catholic
• believed in:
• the Sacrifice of the Mass, which he celebrated himself, obviously
• confession to a priest
• absolution from a priest
• purgatory
• loss of salvation
• merit
• the Church is built on Peter
• the papacy
• baptismal regeneration
• fasting
• penance
• drew up a list of canons for the Church in Ireland which commanded that any dispute not resolved on a local level was to be forwarded to Rome for a decision.
🇪🇸 In Spain, banners are up ahead of Women’s Day saying:
Pray like Mary the Mother of God
Fight like Joan of Arc
Reign like Queen Isabel
Serve like Mother Teresa
Trust like St. Monica
“This Women’s Day, strive for holiness”
