Continued. Except for the fact that the membrane is so porous that it would absorb all the liquid it could until it burst. Which once again leads us to the conclusion, without the cell wall all other organelles would still out and die. So yeah, we the best.
The cell wall is the most important organelle. Without us all the organelles would flow out and become misplaced. They would be unable to function and the cell would die. Of course the membrane could provide defense.
@B84Cellmembrane Continued. You are there as a place holder for the other organelles. You only play the "I'm in animal cells" card. That's all people have said to me. If that is all that people can do for mudslingers, then I'm happy. Try and be original, huh?
@B84Cellmembrane my deepest apologies. It's just, well, you kind of rely on the vacuoles to clean up after you. If we let a virus through, it goes to you, and you rot. Once your gone the cell has no filter, the vacuole can't do it all, the nucleus is now utterly defenseless.
@B84Cellmembrane I'm not a part of one type of cell, animal cells. You got me, I'm so sorry. But why the hell would I care about vacuoles? I'm the Cell Wall. I said they couldn't do it by themselves, that is a compliment for you. Granted I used it as an insult. Oh yes, I am in prokaryotes. I work
@B84Cellmembrane Oh no, you don't understand. Salt is something that should be in cells, and we are meant to let that in. But YOU are meant to filter that and decide how much actually makes it into the cell. It is not a virus entering the cell, it's you being incapable of doing your job.
You're getting arrogant, huh? Well
...let's talk. Without us, you would rot. Quite literally, as you lack any form of defense from viruses and bacteria. We stop all of those viruses from even touching the membrane. But of course, like you said, you're the best. Just you, all you.
@B84_cytoskele@B84Cellmembrane Sorry to burst your bubble, but we do that. We give the cell it's shape and provide a though structure. We can also adapt rapidlly due to our elasticity. Thanks for the attempt
@B84Nucleus@WAHSScienceBall It's odd, don't you think? How the Nucleus does everything itself. It can survive without any other organelles. Wait...this just in from a recent study, it can't! So sorry for the mistake.
Vote for the Endoplasmic Reticulum(@B84_Rougher)if you want to be linked to Hypoxia, Insulin resistance, and Ischemia. And the Rough ER, if they mess up it can result in: body lacking enzymes, can't break certain things down fast enough, and material build up. Works for me!
