In the last game, we needed a win to top the table. Coach @jeadeysly brought new tactics and reminded us the game plan. We gave EVERYTHING. Scored first, then one of our key players @de_nameless_bro got a red card.
Despite the fact that we're 1man down, we sticked to the game plan.
I was at the front, putting pressures on the defenders and the keeper non-stop.

Final whistle blew… #TeamUmar were the CHAMPIONS of #UmmahTwitterMatch2026 🏆

On my way home, I had "muscle pull" twice. Had to come down from the car and lie on the roadside. Passersby were just staring at me, But at the end of it all… we are winners.
The sacrifice, the pain, blood, everything was worth it.

Woke up on Saturday; I checked the whatsapp group, I saw that people couldn’t generate passes. I had to do a quick fix before rushing to the field.
On getting to the field, Someone said "Bro, your eyes are swollen like you never slept for months" 😂
After the first game, I noticed my boot was soaked in blood, my toenail was broken, cut in the middle, probably due to a bad tackle from an opponent.

@AdekemiSaliu treated it and asked if I could continue. Told her I’m not leaving the pitch.
We drew the first game. In the second game, we were winning 2-0, then two controversial penalties (one indirect freekick in the box), and we lost our ginger, Team spirit dropped due to those decisions by the referee.

Friday night around 10pm I came back from my outing, dead tired, just wanted to sleep.
@Sdhikrullahi hit me up: "We need a proper website for registration, check-in, QR codes, certificates."
I was like " Baba, it's been a long day for me, me I want to sleep and prepare for our matches tomorrow".
He was like: "Bro, we have to do this thing", then he linked me up with my teammate & captain @geekmaros. The three of us from #TeamUmar went on a late night call instead of resting. @geekmaros had already done some things, I integrated it with what over done then we got the landing page, check-in, certificates, league table, everything working.

Finished around 4am and slept for like 2 hours before preparing for the #UmmahTwitterMatch2026
