If you think you might be Autistic, it’s a good idea to learn about rejection sensitive dysphoria, pathological demand avoidance, connective tissue disorders, Autistic limerance, and Autistic burnout.
My AuDHD communication isn't an attack it's real-time processing.
When I ask questions, I'm not interrogating you. I'm trying to make sense of it,when I point something out,
I'm not criticising. I'm noticing patterns.
When I speak directly, I'm not being rude.
I'm removing the guesswork.
When I keep going over something,
I'm not "too much"
I'm regulating my thoughts out loud
But if you're used to communication that hides meaning... mine will feel intense.
Not because it is.
But because it's honest.
autistic people can be exhausted by something they enjoy, crave it again after recovering, then get exhausted by it again.
at some point you have to ask: do i love this, or do i just love it in quantities my nervous system hasn’t approved?
Overthinking is a story. And that story isn't real. None of it. It's just a long chain of what ifs. What if that happens, what if it doesn't work, what if i fail, what if??? That fear, that insecurity, that imaginary scenarios you're obsessing about, it's all in your head. Don't complicate it. Take a breath, you will be fine. Every time you find yourself in that story, drag yourself to the present.
Many people with ADHD avoid opening messages because reading them can make them feel like they have an immediate responsibility to respond. This can lead to overwhelm, procrastination, and message avoidance due to executive dysfunction and mental overload.
My life has been ruined by anxiety and depression.
I've become isolated from friends and family. I don't feel like talking to anyone. My mind races aimlessly. I don't feel like working; I'm always tired, depressed, and mentally disturbed. All my goals seem futile now.
.
People who refuse to take accountability almost always say, "You could've just talked to me."
The truth is, I couldn't.
Every time I tried, I wasn't heard. My concerns were dismissed, the conversation got turned around, and somehow I ended up apologising for speaking up in the first place.

People who reach a high level of awareness become unsociable. Crowds drain them. Noise overwhelms them. Small talk feels like work. They chill different. A cozy room. Two people they trust. Good food. Music. Conversations that actually mean something. That’s where they feel alive. Depth over noise. Because for them... peace feels like home.
