After breaking out big-time last year, Saunders has only continued her meteoric rise to become the best goalie in NEWHA.

Among all freshmen since 2000, she’s second only to Éve Gascon’s 2023-24 season (149.65).

The caveat here is that Gascon recorded 21 starts, while Jönsson is already at 19.

Noora Räty(!) is her nearest freshman comparable with at least 25 starts at a score of 142.54.
