Chief Minister Joseph Vijay's potential cabinet – My thoughts!

1. I personally feel @CMOTamilnadu should have appointed a dedicated Home Minister, perhaps a police officer, to take care of law and order. This has been my suggestion for a long time. The last dedicated Home Minister of TN was P. Kakkan, who did a remarkable job during the 1965 anti-Hindi agitations.

2. @BussyAnand is a good choice for Rural Development and Water Resources based on his rural slang (“ittunu varen”) and his tendency to be a loud-water-mouth most of the time.

3. @AadhavArjuna is a good choice for Sports Development and, unlike Udhayanidhi who held this portfolio, Aadhav is a legitimate sportsman. This also ensures that Aadhav gives interviews only pertaining to his portfolio. Better for Aadhav not to speak on other matters. Udhayanidhi tried the same, and today we all know where his party leader-cum-father is.

4. @arunraajkg is the best choice for Health and Medical Education. He is a medical doctor by training turned bureaucrat. He could make a very good Health Minister.

5. @KASengottaiyan for Finance is a no-brainer. Sengs bro will be a good co-pilot, aka number 2, as Finance is an extremely important portfolio. Bro is 80 years old and brings a wealth of political and administrative experience to the table.

6. #PVenkataramanan should have been made the Minister for all forms of Education. He is a Brahmin and is best positioned to do so.

7. @CTR_Nirmalkumar should have become the Minister of Information and Publicity. He has prior experience overseeing social media and media campaigns across parties.

8. @imrajmohan doesn’t even deserve to be a minister because of his cringe behaviour and inability to talk sense. If there were political compulsions, he could at best have become Minister of Food and Civil Supplies.

9. @drtkprabhu_TVK is a fantastic choice. No complaints whatsoever.

Last but not least,

10. #SKeerthana is a pleasant surprise. Such a young, dynamic, and energetic mind as Minister for Industry could ensure unemployment is tackled, investments are brought in, jobs are created, and the local economy is strengthened.

My verdict: @CMOTamilnadu got 80% right and 20% wrong. Overall, a cabinet with a good mix of youth, experience, some drama, and certainly some headache!
