New microLEDs results! @Aledia has successfully produced and lighted-up the BAMBAM blue µLEDs that will be used into the final BAMBAM demo. For details: https://t.co/W7qrFYRTrU
The BAMBAM consortium has prepared a newsletter summarizing the fantastic results obtained in the first-half of the project. Do not hesitate to check it out before we come with more exciting results in the coming weeks!

Nina Szczotka (XTPL) will present BAMBAM results about the printing of Quantum Dots ink at the EPoSS 2024 forum (Cork, Ireland, 18th to 21st June). Want to know more? Go check her poster and chat with her. BAMBAM is funded under Horizon Europe Grant Agreement n°101070085.
Kai Waldner, Uni. Stuttgart, was at the Electronicdisplays Conference to present his findings on using UPD, the XTPL technology, to print interconnects. This could eliminate the need for a TFT backplane in microLED displays. BAMBAM is funded under Horizon Europe GA n°101070085.
The BAMBAM partners gathered in Wrocław for their General Assembly and for 2 days of great interactions and discussions.
All partners would collectively like to thank @XTPL_nanoprint for the great organisation.

The BAMBAM consortium is delighted to announce that it has successfully lighted-up its 4x4 pixels Test Vehicle!!!
This is a major milestone, as most technologies have been derisked. Partners will now build a 390µm fine pitch Active matrix µTile for the high end videowall market.
A new successful collaboration within the BAMBAM consortium!
XDC’s PixelEngineTM prepared for transfer were shipped to X-Celeprint that performed the transfer of the microICs to a target substrate using mass transfer by stamp. Excellent positioning precision was achieved!
Another BAMBAM exciting result. After the success of the consortium in using XTPL’s printer to connect Aledia’s RGB Pixel on a substrate and print Quantum Dot inks, the University of Stuttgart has now printed interconnection to connect XDC’s driver onto a substrate.
BAMBAM was at the International Display Workshop where Emmanuel Fuchs presented the results of the project! Very noce workshop. We thank the European Commission for its support!
XTPL introduces the new Ultra-Precise Dispensing (UPD) System that enables the printing of high-precision electronically conductive or insulating structures. XTPL specifically targets #microLED displays with its new system:

BAMBAM partners met at Barco's headquarter 2 weeks ago. They discussed the future of their technology with ScioTeq & Airbus. They aslo visited QustomDot facilities & Barco's showroom.
BAMBAM is funded under Horizon Europe Grant Agreement n°101070085 and thank the EU for support.
RGB Light up by wire printing !
An important Milestone has been achieved in the BAMBAM project. The University of Stuttgart, Aledia and XTPL collaborated to light up a RGB NanoWire microLED using the additive manufacturing approach at the heart of the project.
QustomDot and XTPL successfully collaborated to print Red and Green InP-based quantum dot inks into cavities matrix on glass. They use XTPL’s Delta Printing System to fill 135x40µm2 cavities with QustomDot's unique red and green inks.
New BAMBAM results! XTPL & QustomDot have successfully tested a new generation of InP-based quantum dot (QD) inks, showcasing the potential to disrupt the microLED display sector. For more information see their announce in MicroLED-info.

The BAMBAM partners gathered in Grenoble (France) last week (2nd & 3rd March) for their General Assembly. It was very exciting to see the first results coming in and to share good times in a nice place in the middle of the Alps. @Barco@XTPL_nanoprint@QustomDot
📅 10 days before the BAMBAM General Assembly in Grenoble, heart of the French Alps and home of Aledia, the coordinator of the project. Looking forward to meeting University of Stuttgart, XTPL, X Display Company (XDC), Barco and QustomDot and discuss the project results!
