@thewestbelfort Because it's not like either of those two connected and Gane ate the shot.
Think.
People believe Alex has more skill than the other two and so will be able to land big shots to eventually put Gane out.
@BenJMMA03 I mean maybe if Prates dominated him on the ground you could say something, but as it happened, that incredible win takes nothing away from Islam's performance.
@travispickler That's not true lmao.
Usman v Brady:
Brady struggled with Belal as he couldn't get him down - Usman a better wrestler and better on the feet.
Usman Belal: 👆
Usman v Prates
Leon was able to get Prates, Usman in that position would be able to control him until round's end.
@RomanEliteG@TheJGMMA This is the thing, it's not fair on a personal level but from a company standpoint, it makes sense. What you really don't want is for Alex to "win the belt" outside of the cage by being promoted to UDC. Aspinall is definitely getting screwed but seems like it has to happen
@Blanchfieldszn7 No, if he wins he's one away from the title. No one will really want that fight on short notice.
Small chance he fights someone lower ranked who really wants the chance (if bsd is super eager) more likely he waits for Charles, Arman or Max
@RomanEliteG@TheJGMMA Definitely, and it's a very very unfortunate situation. Realistically, Tom should have been undisputed when he fought Curtis.
But they can't risk the same thing happening where they make fight that are happening smaller for ones that potentially won't/won't for a while
