"Radical" in comparison to what's been, but by no means the most. Recognizing what Public Bank East Bay is, how it declares to operate and where it is in it's development, we see a reason to share about it and endeavor not only keep but to enlarge our window of oppportunity.
and here's a perfect example of radical by degrees: just today a new loan fund was announced that is specifically targeted to Oakland Black and brown businesses. Oakland Restorative Loan Fund $10-$100K with no fees, zero interest and no minimum credit score.

We see radical action by degrees in local banking. Its on us to ensure they know exactly what we need. Here's a snapshot of new developments: a public bank is grows and a new loan fund opens. Is your Black owned business in the loan application process? We want to hear from you!
There's a difference between The 4th of Juy and July 4th. that difference is honesty. Accountability. Truth.
Ask someone with Mexican roots about celebrating Cinco de Mayo. They'll tell you it's May 5th to them.
The same way Juneteenth is still July 19th for so many.
