World Down Syndrome Day, 21 March, is a global awareness day that has been officially observed since 2012.
It is observed on the 21st day of the 3rd month, to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

As a part of Nitschmann’s Black History month-long celebration, chorus sang the Negro National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing”arranged by @ldevriesmusic . “I was so proud. It really meant a lot. It was sang in front of the whole school body for our pep rally.”~ Mrs. Stewart
