@rosaltmann Common sense this. I advised my local MP James Frith Bury North. Just make the fuel allowance a taxable benefit (as is the state Pension) Recipients would then be taxed on the benefit at their marginal rate being zero, basic, higher or additional rate. So easy it is not removed
