A lot of people ask why the iOS version of Beta Blocker is free and the Android version is paid, so here's my explanation :3 🫶

iOS is free because Apple's sandbox is strict. An iPhone app can only do what Apple allows, so Beta Blocker can work as a Safari extension or in a limited export mode, but it can't layer over other apps the way other versions of the app can.🥲

I didn’t feel comfortable charging people for something that I didn’t feel like was worth it, so I've kept the iOS version free with fun paid optional cosmetics and a few extra settings via a cheap subscription 🥹(which I lowered recently by half too!)

Android is paid because it’s essentially an entirely different experience. Their platform gives Beta Blocker much more room to work with🤖! It can run alongside almost any app and add more layering and functionality and speed. On top of that, it includes a large set of features, cosmetics, options, and settings, so the price covers the extra depth and the extras ♥️

I know alot of Android users were feeling betrayed when they saw that the iOS app was free, but understand that they are completely different in terms of functionality. Android is the superior platform for apps such as Beta Blocker.
