Excellent picture of V705, the proof-of-concept for what became the MX-5, being assessed alongside an X1/9 circa 1985. The Fiat's on UK plates and V705 was built by IAD in Worthing so I assume this somewhere in Britain but can't work out where. Looks a bit like TRL in Crowthorne?
