The attention of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has been drawn to a purported "Important Public Announcement" circulating on social media, allegedly signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj Gen. AM Jibril (Rtd).

The Board wishes to dissociate itself from the purported statement and wishes to inform the public that it is false, unauthorised, and as such, did not originate from the Board or the Office of the Secretary to the Board.  

The purported document contains political undertones which is not consistent with the official, non-partisan communication standards of the Board. Members of the public are advised to disregard it in its entirety.

The Board further wishes to state that under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Interior, @BTOofficial , the Ministry has continued to pursue a clear vision of institutional reform, transparency, innovation, and improved service delivery across the agencies under its supervision. 

The Minister's commitment to professionalism, accountability, and citizen-centred governance remains focused on strengthening the nation's internal security architecture and enhancing public confidence in the services.

Applicants and the general public are urged to rely only on the official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic information regarding the recruitment exercise as well as other Board activities.

The Board appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation.
