Sovereign AI is not about technological self-sufficiency. It is about ensuring every country has the capability, talent, and partnerships needed to participate in the AI economy.

That was my message during a panel at the #FIIPRIORITY Europe Summit in Rome.

The AI market is projected to grow from $189 billion in 2023 to $4.8 trillion by 2033. Yet fewer than one-third of developing countries have a national #AI strategy, and many remain underrepresented in global AI governance.

The answer is not isolation, but cooperation. Let us work together to ensure AI opportunity is accessible to all, not concentrated in the hands of a few.
