@KanielaIng My wife and I bought a house in 05, when I was 24. I never lived rent free, though I was briefly unhoused. But, this was right before the housing crash in 08. Also, we'd dropped out of college to avoid student loans, and I'm "able bodied". There's no way I could do it now though.
