Our chromebooks are one example of E-waste! Instead of our school giving us new ones each year, we reuse the same one for all of our years of schooling! This is very beneficial as it reduces e-waste which reduces a lot of toxic waste! #apeswaste @franklinlorax

All weather occurs in the troposphere which is the layer we live in. The seasons we experience are caused by the tilt of the Earths axis. I’m sick of this 30 degree weather and can’t wait till it’s summer weather!! @franklinlorax #apesair

Staying home has caused ppl to drive less, reducing carbon emissions. However, more ppl are running/walking so they are releasing CO2 into the atmosphere themselves. But, this is better for the environment than driving as less greenhouse gases are emitted. #apesair @franklinlorax

Car engines use gasoline made from crude oil which releases toxic pollutants when burned. But, because we aren’t driving as much, we are using less gas so there are less car emissions. At least there are some environmental benefits from self isolation! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

With having to be at home because of corona, my little brother has used A LOT of energy by playing xbox. In order to reduce energy usage, we limit him to one hour a day and have now switched to playing outside which uses no energy! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Books use a lot of paper which means a lot of logging occurs. Although many trees are cut down for paper, libraries help reduce the amount of paper used due to reuseable books. @franklinlorax #apesland

In city areas like Milwaukee, they have high-density housing, whereas in franklin we have low-density housing.The two areas are very different but Milwaukee's housing is better because it allows there to have more room for more land. @franklinlorax #apesland
