We don't care about all that. We're British. Stop dividing us
I don't know why, but the 'far right adjacent' are laying flowers at at Churchill's statue. No doubt the 'ultra left' will wake up around noon and go and shout "Fascists" at them and when they see the right have gone they will vandalise the statue of the man who defeated Hitler
@matt_hull1979 The anger is that one party are effectively claiming ownership of compassion about cancer when most victims of cancer don't vote for that party. That isn't compassion about cancer. That's ugly politics and not a good look from a Prime Minister elected by his party, not voters
He using a national cancer charity to boost his own political image, not help people with cancer. He is on with the Labour Mayor of Liverpool. Strangely, other political parties were excluded by C4. Insane to not understand why people find that divisive, corrupt and insulting
I keep seeing people saying "France is burning" but there is too much rain in Paris for a proper fire. America is burning, though, in its own way. Burning money.
@Kentorganics1 Everybody was white at that event. The left. The right. The police. I don't think black Britain can handle the Great British autumn weather. More like hail hell than heil.
The 'ultra left' are not happy that the 'far right adjacent' made them counter-protest on the sea front in late October. In the middle of a bloody storm.
Thankfully it was under construction, not in use. Officially the death toll is 1. Unofficially there are more missing workers than they admit to, but I wouldn't trust anything that construction firm or local government says
Support your local police. Well, the ones brave enough to volunteer for overtime in all weather, anyway. I note they are also unusually pale, stale and male today. 'DEI face' washes away in the rain, maybe? Or maybe it's just that Herne Bay is a bit... like that
The 'far right adjacent' lose points for the 2020 branding, but I do find it odd that the 'ultra left' are upset, given that they are all white people and we should really worry about the health implications for everybody of standing in the cold rain shouting angry abuse all day
@enttruth2@WestonPark88 All politicians are human beings. The good ones put aside differences and unite for good causes, they don't hijack them for their own tribe. We don't seem to have many of those these days. You get what you vote for. Burnham will never win a general election
@cllrhelencliff Fine. If you force me to do the googling I will. The fact that you cite fake 'facts' without doing research means we're done https://t.co/hzVVu4dOha
@WestonPark88 If Boris did an event for cancer I'm sure many would attack him. My point isn't about Burnam. It's that politicians should not try to monopolise good causes that affect everybody to boost their political status. Bring all leaders together if you want to unite to support cancer
@WilliamGilk6wx@RebeccaCait04 It was politicians getting in touch with the yoof. That was probably not a great idea, given what we now know about historical children's entertainers and politicians. Maggie's "stand up to bullies" message was very good, though. It's probably why Gen X won't be silenced by mobs
@cllrhelencliff I'd imagine so. Especially Cameron. Mind you, Ed Miliband would have earned a fortune for Comic Relief, even if for all the wrong reasons.
@lamont1940 GB News isn't charity, but I'm sure they'd welcome any LibDem MP on to give his or her opinion on the job Ed Davey has been doing. Not sure the LibDem press office will allow it, though.
