@jdpoc@ChrisMasonBBC Well, I don’t know him well but I knew him a bit at the BBC - he’s just a lovely guy - v smart - and nice to deal with - so that’s a first hand experience rather than the bollocks you talk.
THE NIGHT SKY ON MARS LOOKS INSANE
Imagine standing on Martian soil under a sky so dense with stars it feels unreal.
That’s the view - no atmosphere to blur it, no city lights to drown it out.
How long until we’re the ones under that sky?
@dhruv_rathee It was grounded after the battery fires. It may have NOTHING to do with this awful accident but it is a fact. I know because I covered the story as the BBC’s transport correspondent. They fixed the issue by putting the batteries in fire proof boxes.
