Today is Holocaust Memorial Day and school assemblies this week will focus on reminding students of the importance of remembering those who died in the Holocaust and in genocides since.

Ron Gumbley served in the Far East with the RAF supporting the Fourteenth Army and was sailing towards Singapore when the end of the war was announced ⬇️

Today, we proudly supported 30 WW2 veterans at #VEDAY80 celebrations in London, marking 80 years since the end of the conflict in Europe.

Events included a military parade, flypast and a Tea Party at Buckingham Palace with HM The King and members of the @RoyalFamily.
