@virginmedia What sort of time system are you working to? 10mins = 2seconds and then it jumps to 7 minutes.
Are you surprised when customers get frustrated? #virginmedia
@virginmedia True, @Ofcom can’t help directly, but I suspect CISAS (aproved by Ofcom) can (this matter is about 8 weeks old). Or maybe, someone will respond via your app before I get in touch with them.
@virginmedia I lost my broadband from 29th July to 5th August. I thought you were now part of an automated compensation scheme - but nothing has shown up on my bills (in Aug or Sept). I’m getting in touch with @Ofcom tomorrow (you don’t answer phones or your app).
@virginmedia It was a total loss of service for five days (four or five houses in our Close) - endless phone conversations - endless Twitter messages - text messages stating problem had been resolved (when it hadn’t). As I said reporting to @Ofcom tomorrow. I have more confidence in them.
@fussyMcWhiskers@virginmedia I know this doesn’t help your problem, but I also eMailed Lutz Schüler (for a different reason, mine was poor customer service) & surprisingly got a response - took a few day, so it can be worthwhile (or it’s possibly luck of the draw wrt which eMails get read) 👍 Good luck.
@adamaadam@virginmedia Your customer is asking for a postal address so he can make a complaint.
It’s this:
Virgin Media, PO Box 333, Matrix Court, Swansea, SA7 9ZJ
Why is this so difficult? He didn’t ask for a link. He asked an extremely straightforward question.
Apologies Al for interrupting 😂
@PdJen@virginmedia Trouble is, when they’re forced to stop this practice, everyone knows that they’ll increase the price for everyone, and claim they’ve been forced to do it. #greedy
@PdJen@virginmedia Customers shouldn’t need to haggle, threaten to leave etc to get a better deal. All customers should be offered a fair deal. Office of Fair trading has stopped this practice in some industries, hopefully it’s only a matter of time before media companies are forced to do the same.
