Rick Pitino is right.
Every player’s hourglass runs out faster than they think.
The practices. The games. The grind.
One day… it’s all gone.
Cherish every rep. Every moment. Every opportunity.
Don’t waste your sand. ⏳
Kasyn Touchette | TAP Hoops | @BB_BCHS
A 6’5 guard who can get to the rim at will. Strong enough to move defenders off their spot. Has good body control when finishing around bigger players in the paint. Can drive both directions but prefers left. Capable 3pt shooter
OTR Florida Invitational
2029 6’3 CG Kason Dauvergne (Tap Hoops 17U)
Davergne delivered a good performance while controlling the game from start to finish. He got into the lane, finished around the rim with touch and balance, and stayed aggressive as a scorer. He also knocked down perimeter shots, forcing the defense to stay honest at all levels. On defense, he stayed active when guarding the passing lanes showcasing his length on the perimeter, as well as altering shots around the rim. Overall, he was a tone setter on both ends of the floor which provided a huge spark in the win over BLA National. #OTRFloridaInvitational

OTR Florida Invitational
2027 6’3 CG Jayden Milne (Tap Hoops 17U)
Milne made his presence felt from the opening tip where he was able to control the offense with his ability to distribute as well as score on all three levels in a win over Storm 17U. Milne showcased his ability where he was able to finish at the rim over multiple defenders. On defense, he was making havoc for opposing guards and made it difficult for the opposition to get any offensive flow. He is a stock riser to watch heading into his senior season. #OTRFloridaInvitational

Coach Scheyer:
“One of our standards was do your best. And doing your best wasn’t about playing your best, making the most shots, it’s about giving your best effort, it’s about giving your best attitude, and having your best focus. We don’t play for a score, we play to do our best….It has to come from the players. As a coach you can say whatever you want but at the end of the day your players are the ones that has to own it.”

High school basketball doesn’t require a fancy game plan or an all-star lineup.
It takes toughness on defense.
Unselfishness on offense.
And a group of players who are willing to outwork anyone in their way.
