@mic1eee@DurhamCatholic@ConsumerSOS Maybe we should try and start to pray to St. Anthony to help us find our missing money we are owed. Seeing as this is a Catholic board and they would I am sure would like to live up to those Catholic values they like to speak of all the time.
When bosses decide to not respect the terms & conditions of collective agreements, it is the ed workers that pay the price
@DurhamCatholic - all monies owing these workers were due this week - you had 30 days to complete these tasks! Shame on you! #PayUp@CUPEOntario@osbcucscso

As the wife of a custodian who works for the DCDSB, we've been waiting for funds, owed to my husband, for over a month now. There are bills to pay. Honestly, why should you have to beg to get the money that is rightfully yours? It's insulting.
@DurhamCatholic . The DCDSB has yet to pay its members their back pay or give them their raise. The trustee settled this on June 17th and it was legally aka bargaining a good faith to be handed out 30 days after that. And yet again this board disrespects it's members. @CTVNews
@DurhamCatholic We settled with the government for $1/hr in Dec of last year. The Board finally ratified our local contract on June 19th. The stipulation was they had 30 days to pay retro $ out. DCDSB is the only board that has not followed the stipulation! @DurhamNews24@globalnews
#dcdsb why is it that other boards can figure out how to pay their employees their wages in the agreed amount of time but this board is refusing to. We all worked hard and deserve the compensation that we have agreed to. We deserve respect and this isn’t showing us respect.
I have been with the DCDSB for over twenty years. As most people know CUPE just ratified our collective agreement on June 19, 2023. Based on the central agreement the school board was required to pay our retro by JULY 19th. They chose to ignore the rules.
