PECO Energy Company ("PECO" or the "Company") is filing a request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (the "PUC") to increase your electric distribution rates as of May 29, 2026. This notice describes the Company's electric rate request, the PUCS role, and what actions you can take.
PECO has requested an annual overall electric distribution rate increase of approximately $429 million. PECO is also proposing to partially offset this increase by an $88 million revenue reduction, effective April 2027, that would be reflected in customer electric bills in 2027. The reduction would result from two proposed cost-recovery mechanisms including a request for approval of an EE&C Regulatory Asset Rider with a carrying charge in accordance with 66 Pa. C.S. § 1330 (relating to alternative ratemaking for utilities), If approved as filed, the two mechanisms spread certain costs over time, lowering delivery charges for customers in the near term.

If the Company's entire request is approved:

• The total monthly bill for a residential customer using 700 kWh would increase by $20.08 from $160.37 to $180.45 or by 12.5% in 2027, partially offset by $2.30 per month, or 1.3% effective April 2027, as a result of the two proposed cost recovery mechanisms.
