@cartycinema@IslandofFilm@mathebong512 What I don't understand is, why did D.F. reject Keith Scott for being "too scary", yet they approved Joe Matheson for a public test screening when his delivery was practically a carbon copy of Keith's?
@IslandofFilm Funnily enough, before Carty and Joseph got hold of the old assets, I contacted Patrick Breen via Instagram, and asked him what sort of voices he did for Splatter & Dodge, and he said "can't remember, but British flavoured.". Oddly, he never said anything like "No, I voiced Toby"
@ThomasSlat72640@magicrailroad25 Which the Thomas series had before, since like season 3 or so. Like when an engine crashs there's a "wooaaaa" sound, then a "boing" sound when some trucks broke free from Peter Sam in Duncan Gets Spooked. Remember them?
@ChildrensTVArch
I've noticed you've been saying a lot lately that Destination Films deliberately set out to "sabotage" Britt Allcroftโs vision. With all due respect... Where's your proof of that statement? Have you reached out to any Destination employees?
@ChildrensTVArch I'm not out to simp for anyone, just saying I find your continued insistence of D.F. "intentionally sabotaging" Britt's version to be one-sided, bias, and not neutral. To me, it's as if you're saying "All hail Britt, down with Destination!". You seem to have it in for D.F.
@ChildrensTVArch I mean, as you and Carty have gone to the trouble of tracking down/talking one on one to all these cut voice actors, why are you jumping to conclusions (which you at one point told others not to do on April Fool's day) instead of also giving Dest. Films employees a voice?
@mathebong512 ...of people knew about Thomas The Tank Engine. Why oh why didn't they just screen it somewhere in Britain, since that's where Thomas originated from?
@mathebong512 Depending on who made the final decision, I think it's either Destination Films or Britt's team that are to blame in this instance; one of those two groups made the decision to screen it in LA, which, according to Joseph Marshall, was the place in USA where the least amount...
@magicrailroad25 Wasn't John Bellis' voice in the February 2000 casting pitched up though? That kinda makes it sound phoney and misleading don't you think?
@magicrailroad25 Great clip, but why can't you just show the whole test screening instead of just random clip after random clip? Sorry if that sounds rude, but I'm getting increasingly baffled as to why this seems to be the case.
