The united voice of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee reached Raj Bhavan today as MPCC leaders and workers staged a protest and marched to the Governor’s Office.

The protest was led by our Hon’ble President Shri O. Ibobi Singh and joined by me in my capacity as CLP Leader, along with our Hon’ble MLAs, former MLAs, former Ministers, party leaders, and dedicated workers.

Our demands include:
• Resignation of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
• Protection of the future of our youths and students.
• Safeguarding democracy and the Constitution of India.
• Strong opposition to the arrest of our leader, Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji.

The Congress Party remains steadfast in its commitment to defend democratic values, constitutional principles, and the rights and aspirations of the people, especially the youth and students of our nation.

अब यह घोषणा क्यों?
जब लाखों छात्र पेपर लीक की घटनाओं और परीक्षा व्यवस्था पर उठ रहे सवालों से जूझ रहे थे, तब आपकी सरकार कहाँ थी?

जब छात्र सड़कों पर न्याय मांग रहे थे और उन पर बल प्रयोग हो रहा था, तब यह संवेदनशीलता क्यों नहीं दिखाई गई?

आज फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट की बात हो रही है। लेकिन युवाओं का सवाल सिर्फ़ इतना नहीं है कि आगे क्या होगा, बल्कि यह भी है कि अब तक जो हुआ उसकी ज़िम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?

अगर युवाओं का भविष्य वास्तव में आपकी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है, तो जवाबदेही तय कीजिए।

देश के युवाओं की माँग साफ़ है:

1. धर्मेंद्र प्रधान इस्तीफ़ा दें।

2. छात्रों पर बल प्रयोग के मामलों की निष्पक्ष जाँच हो और दोषियों पर कार्रवाई हो।

3. प्रधानमंत्री देश के छात्रों से सार्वजनिक रूप से माफ़ी माँगें कि उनकी चिंताओं को समय रहते गंभीरता से नहीं लिया गया।

आपने कहा, "युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।"

तो फिर कार्रवाई की शुरुआत अपनी सरकार से कीजिए।

घोषणाओं से भरोसा नहीं लौटेगा। भरोसा जवाबदेही से लौटेगा।

अब ट्वीट नहीं, प्रेस कॉन्फ़्रेंस कीजिए। सवालों का जवाब दीजिए। जवाबदेही तय कीजिए। और अगर नैतिक ज़िम्मेदारी स्वीकार है, तो इस्तीफ़े से शुरुआत कीजिए।
