@LutheranLeftist Even though I agree with many of the things "the young meant" want. I totally agree it's worse to enforce them for the wrong reasons rather than just continue to let them develope naturally.
@ultima_flashs Literally every company has copilot of their in a m365 environment, it doesn't even work very well. Best it does is save some time on simple scripts and searches.
@johnehrett Honestly I think prior to the Harrison era the LCMS was just not pushing catechesis as they should. It seems a lot of churches have only brought it back as a male focus on the last couple decades or so.
@GerhardsGhost If asked directly for clarification I'm sure he would say it's God that grows the Church, he's said it so many times over the years, any time I've heard him speak. We can't just pretend he hasn't made that clearly his confession.
@GerhardsGhost I agree with your take, and I also don't think President Harrison was trying to take near as much personal glory as some are accusing him of, he's talking not on behalf of one man, but the spokesperson of the synod under his leadership.

@Hestia_Esq The only reason to pay for a degree is if it's going to be a return investment for your family. Learning things is great, but there's better and cheaper ways to do it than at college.
@Hestia_Esq So many people in the comments referencing how being "highly educated" isn't a bad thing. As someone who has a degree, I really don't consider anyone with a degree smarter or more capable. If you're a self starter, you're a self starter. A piece of paper doesn't change that
