It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague, Jennifer Tong, on Aug. 24. Jen is the founding member of the BCCEC and had been involved with the CEC at the national & international level. She will be greatly missed.
As schools and school systems scramble to provide on line learning here are a two tips: don't try to do too much --if you do it will be of low quality, and discourage everyone; if you already had a collaborative culture have two or more teachers work together and co-present.
Out of respect for the health and safety of our members, educators, and parents, we have decided to postpone any future workshops for the short term. Thank you.”
